A cask beer from the Thornbridge archives. It pours a rich, deep black and white in colour, and so it named Pica Pica, the scientific name for a Magpie. Expect a balanced sweetness throughout with notes of roasted nuts and coffee.

Brewed to ‘Export Strength’, this beer is a nod to the strong porters that were exported to the Baltic ports, India and the Caribbean throughout the 1800s. Strong, black and chocolatey, this beer is hopped with both traditional Fuggles and the more potent Ernest to give a rounded bitterness and smooth finish.
