The 24th Kingston Beer Festival is here. As well as a wide range of award-winninng real ale, cider and perry, we will again be showcasing an exciting range of craft beers in various styles, plus a fully-stocked club bar including wines & spirits

Thursday & Friday tickets comprise £5 entrance, £3 glass deposit and £12 tokens.
Saturday tickets comprise £2 entrance, £3 glass deposit and £15 tokens.

Extra £1 in tokens for CAMRA members who show their card at the entrance. All unused tokens can be refunded or donated to MND.

Thu./Fri. - 11am to 10:30pm.
Sat. - 11am to 7pm (Stock permitting).

The Black Brewery in Westerham brewed Audit Ale throughout the early 20th century. Its fame was such that it was supplied to Clarence House for the beginning of the oyster season. Audit Ale is a Kentish Strong Ale brewed with Greensand aquifer water, 100% Kent bred and grown hops, and the same recultured yeast from the Black Eagle Brewery as was used to ferment Westerham Ales up until the brewery's closure in 1965. Kentish Strong Ale is a Protected Food Name with Protected Geographical Indication

Based on a classic Courage recipe. A traditional English Pale but with some intersting special features given its history. It has a very light amber colour and resultant subtle caramel and biscuity maltiness. Following fermentation, the beer was dry hopped for an extended period in 'warm conditioning'to give a full, distinctive yet mellow hoppiness so the palate and aroma. Overall this produces a fruity, complex yet light and balancdbeer with a long lasting satisfying smoothness. A classic with pedigree.
